GLOBAL LEADERS
NETWORK
The Israel Christian Nexus is a global leaders network, bringing together pastors and Christian leaders from around the world to synergize their influence in support of Israel. Through a unique combination of education, relationship-building, and advocacy, this network equips leaders to be bold voices in their churches and communities.
By joining this global network, you’ll connect with like-minded leaders, gain access to exclusive resources, and receive strategic insights that empower you to stand at the forefront of a movement defending Israel and the Jewish people for generations to come. We are equipping pastors with tools for Israel advocacy through workshops, sermon series, monthly video calls, annual summits, and more.
Education
Learn about the multifaceted world of Israel and how to connect as a Christian leader. Theology, history, and geopolitics all collide in Nexus’s educational programs and events, featuring both Jewish and Christian scholars and leaders.
Relationship
Israel is not an idea, but a place with a people. The Nexus facilitates a long overdue conversation between the followers of Jesus (Christians) with the family of Jesus (Jews). Functional relationship is a distinguishing mark of the Nexus approach to Israel.
Advocacy
The Nexus does not produce tourists to Israel, but advocates for Israel. The result of education and relationship naturally leads to activism. The Nexus guides leaders through that process, giving them tools to be a voice.
If Christian leaders do not educate themselves and others about Israel, then someone else will. According to a study by authors Inbari and Burin, only 33.5% of young evangelicals support Israel. This is a nearly 50% drop from older evangelicals. This generation needs a Biblically and historically accurate understanding of Israel and the Jewish people.
Watchmen on the Wall
An 8-week discipleship course that gives a comprehensive theological & geopolitical perspective of Israel and our role as Christians in advocating for the Jewish People.
A Pastors’ Guide to Israel and the Jewish People (forthcoming 2025)
Once pastors visit Israel, their primaray question is “What’s next?” This 8-week course is the next step after Watchmen on the Wall to guide pastors into a deeper relationship with Israel and the Jewish people, addressing the biggest questions and navigating what can at times feel like relational land-mines.
Sermon Outlines
The Nexus team of pastors and theologians offer sermon outlines to give you confidence when preaching about Israel from the pulpit. The outlines include scripture references and talking points for you to build the messages that fit the needs of your congregation.
Quarterly Leadership Roundtables
Each quarter, you’ll hear strategic analysis from governmental, religious, and cultural leaders regarding current events in Israel. With these exclusive insights, you’ll be equipped to make a public impact for Israel and the Jewish people.
Only 33.5% of Young
Evangelicals Support Israel
• Social media propaganda is swaying the
next generation against Israel.
• Christian leaders must be articulate,
informed intercessors. Education is essential!
Psalm 133:1 says, “Behold, how good and pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity.” The Nexus recognizes the differences between Jewish and Christian communities but embraces the vast common ground that we stand upon. By embracing that commonality and brotherhood, we can learn from each other and together positively change the world according to Judeo-Christian values.
Annual Summit of North American Rabbis and Pastors
Launching in 2025, this annual event brings together rabbis and pastors in functional relationship. The summit includes keynote speakers, roundtable discussion groups, and shared meals in order to build bridges and cultivate lifelong conversations.
The Nexus Council of Rabbis and Pastors
The Nexus does not neglect Jewish Christian relationship on the local level. This council helps you identify and approach Jewish leaders in your area. That way, relationship can be fueled on a grassroots level, sitting around the Shabbat table and partnering in joint initiatives.
Monthly Members Zoom
The Nexus not only enriches your life through an Israel connection, but also through camaraderie with other like-minded leaders. Through the monthly Zoom with Nexus leadership and members, you cultivate kingdom relationships and deepen your own spiritual health.
Torah Tuesdays
Today’s Christian Zionism began in the seventeenth century when Puritan scholars began studying the scriptures under the guidance of the rabbis of Amsterdam. To honor this heritage and continue its impact, Torah Tuesdays bring together Jewish and Christian minds to study and discuss the Word of God.
Advocacy happens in two ways: First, through intercession; Christians raise their voice to God. Second, through activism; Christians exercise their voice to men. The Nexus mobilizes leaders in both capacities to fight antisemitism in our world and pray for the fullness of God’s promises to the Jewish patriarchs.
National Day of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem
The first Sunday of every October marks the Day of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem. Pastor Jack Hayford and Bishop Robert Stearns launched this initiative twenty years ago and churches from more than 175 nations have joined to lift up united intercession for the city of Jerusalem.
The Bonhoeffer Declaration
Released on the one year anniversary of October 7th, Bishop Stearns coordinated global Christian leaders to draft, sign, and release this declaration in the spirit of Dietrich Bonhoeffer, committing to public advocacy for the Jewish people.
Solidarity Sunday
Each year coinciding with International Holocaust Remembrance Day, Nexus churches across the United States commemorate the horrors of antisemitism through Solidarity Sunday. Pastors educate their congregations about the history of antisemitism, its present threat today, and the need to stand in solidarity with the Jewish people in the face of evil.
Lobbying on the Hill
Once a year, Bishop Stearns mobilizes Christian leaders to gather in Washington, D.C. They utilize access to U.S. congressmen and women to address the pressing needs of Israel’s safety and security, urging them to stand with Israel through public policy.
Abraham’s Bread
Abraham’s Bread feeding centers in Jerusalem and Tiberias provide hot meals to hundreds everyday who are living in poverty. Jews, Arabs, Christians––all who are in need are welcome to experience God’s love as we meet practical needs.
Forest of Life
Eagles’ Wings and the Israel Christian Nexus are planting 3,000 trees on a farm in Israel where Omer and Na’ama Atidya have fostered over 400 children, rehabilitating them from trauma and preparing them to integrate into society.
